Day 11 Inheritance

Did you know that it is outside the will of God for you to struggle financially? God desires for your entire generation, your bloodline to be blessed and wealthy. For the bible says “Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever”. [Psalm 112:2-3 NLT]. While you are living on Earth, it is your duty as a child of God to create generational wealth. A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous. [Proverbs 13:22] This isn’t just some false, exaggerated prosperity teaching, but it is mandated in the word of God; For money is the answer to all things. [Ecclesiastes 10:19] If we Kingdom Entrepreneurs we most certainly need money to build his Kingdom and meet the needs of his church and his people.

Awhile back I used to joke about not having a rich uncle to help me through all of my entrepreneurial endeavors. I believed that I had to pave the way for my family and generations to come for us to be wealthy. I was willing to work as hard as I needed to make sure it would happen. When I first started Myavana, I worked and worked and worked often forgoing sleep to make sure that I accomplished all my tasks. At the time, I only had a husband and no kids, so I figured I could work as long as I wanted or needed to. Sometimes I’d only get 4-5 hours sleep at night, get up and go to my full-time job, then head over to my other office to build Myavana. I was following the popular saying I’ll sleep when I die. I found out years later that I was not honoring God the way I should, for the bible says it is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones. [Psalm 127:2] I thought that by working hard I was going to be rich! You read all of those stories about millionaires and billionaires only sleeping for four hours at a time, but what you don’t read about is how often they are doing it or if and when they are taking vacations and breaks.

It is God’s will that I not only prosper but that I don’t kill myself in the process. I also found out that I am an heir to the richest man that ever walked this earth, Abraham. Do you remember that song you sang in bible school as a child “Father Abraham, had many sons, many sons had father Abraham, I am one of them, and so are you, so let’s just praise the Lord – right arm, left arm….”  Genesis 17:6-8 states that “I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”

You might be wondering, “Well how is that? What qualifies me to be a son or daughter of Abraham?” Romans 4:16 says, “therefore, the promise comes by faith so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.” Because you are a follower and believer of Jesus Christ, you are one of Abraham’s descendants. Galatians 3:29 says  “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.” And Hebrews 1:2 states “ In these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.” It’s that simple, if you have accepted Jesus Christ in your heart, then you have an inheritance assigned to you. You can be wealthy, you can create generational wealth, and it is your inheritance to prosper.

Most gracious Heavenly Father, we thank you for all that you are and for all that you do. We thank you for being the King of Kings, the author of our destinies, and the giver of our inheritance.

We acknowledge that all that is or will ever be belongs to you. For Psalm 89:11 says: The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all that is in it, You have founded and established them. Thank you, God, for sending your son Jesus Christ, for whom you have appointed an heir to all things including the wealth and riches of the earth. (Hebrews 1:2).

We have accepted Jesus Christ in our hearts and believe that he is your son, sent by you to redeem us from our sins. Father God, we claim the rightful ownership of our inheritance as granted to us, the descendants of Abraham. (Genesis 17:6-8)

For Galatians 3:29 says that if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise. We repent of our sins and the sins of our ancestors, and we ask that through the bloodshed from your son Jesus Christ that our sins and the sins of our grandfather’s grandfathers be washed away. We also repent on behalf of, and we forgive any negative words that we have spoken or negative words that were spoken against us by those who have authority in our lives and our kingdom. We ask that you strike down the lies and accusations that our adversary may be using against us in the heavenly courts. (Revelation 12:10).

For you have canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.

(Colossians‬ ‭2:14‬) We ask that you loose our generational blessings to us now and We prophesy that our children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever. (Psalm 112:2-3 NLT).

We declare that every resource, money, wisdom, favor, and grace will be released to us now in Jesus Name.
